Gift Cards & Art Gifting
A Hype Unique Gallery gift card opens the door to workshops, custom framing, artwork, and consultations — a genuinely personal gift for any art lover in Kelowna, packaged with the warmth this family-run studio has always been known for.
Service description
A Meridian gift card is one of the most personal gifts you can give an art lover in Kelowna. Cards are redeemable for any service — workshops, framing, artwork purchases, or consultations — and never expire. We package each card in a hand-folded envelope with a short note about the studio, making it a gift that feels considered from the moment it is opened. Cards are available in any denomination from $25 upward.
A Gift That Fits Every Art Lover
Not everyone is easy to shop for, but the person who lights up in front of a painting, who has been meaning to try a workshop, or who finally wants that cherished photograph properly framed — they deserve something that truly matches their interest. A Meridian gift card lets them choose exactly what speaks to them, whether that is a hands-on creative session, a consultation with our framers, or a piece of original regional artwork.
Because the card is redeemable across every service and artwork purchase we offer, there is no risk of choosing the wrong thing. The recipient decides how and when to use it, on their own timeline, without pressure. That flexibility is what makes it feel generous rather than generic.
How Gift Cards Work at Hype Unique Gallery
Purchasing a card is straightforward. Visit us in the studio during business hours and walk out with a finished gift in hand — the card is packaged immediately, ready to give. If you cannot make it in person, a phone order can be prepared for pick-up, typically within the hour on most days, so a last-minute decision never has to feel rushed or careless.
Cards are available from $25 upward in any denomination, including a selection of popular amounts. If you have a specific figure in mind, we will match it exactly. Multiple cards can be combined in a single transaction, and if a purchase exceeds the card value, the recipient simply covers the difference by any other accepted payment method.
Packaged the Way a Gift Should Feel
Every Meridian gift card arrives in a hand-folded envelope accompanied by a short note about the studio — who we are, what we do, and the story behind this corner of downtown Kelowna that David and Elaine Hartwell turned into a gathering place for artists and art lovers more than two decades ago. It is a small detail, but it transforms a card into something that feels considered from the first moment it is held.
For families who have been coming to us across generations, that note carries real meaning. For someone discovering Meridian for the first time through a gift, it is a warm introduction to a place that will feel familiar long before they have visited.
No Expiry, No Pressure
Life is busy, and the best intentions do not always align with the calendar. That is why Meridian gift cards carry no expiry date — ever. A card purchased today can be redeemed months or years from now, whenever the moment feels right for the recipient. There is no fine print eroding its value over time, and no deadline creating unnecessary stress.
This policy reflects the way we think about our relationship with clients. We are not interested in a transaction that ends at the till. We want the person who receives that card to walk through our doors feeling genuinely welcomed, whether it is their first visit or their fiftieth, and whether they arrive next week or next year.
Who This Gift Is Right For
A Meridian gift card suits a wide range of people and occasions. Think of the family member who has admired local artwork but never quite taken the step of buying a piece for themselves. Think of a friend who mentioned wanting to learn a new creative skill but has not yet signed up for a workshop. Think of someone who has a treasured heirloom — a photograph, a painting, a print — sitting unframed because they were not sure where to take it.
It is equally well suited to milestone moments: a birthday, a housewarming, a retirement, a thank-you. Because Meridian has been part of Kelowna family life for over two decades, many of our clients choose our gift cards specifically because the studio already holds meaning for the person they are celebrating.
Buying Your Card at Hype Unique Gallery
When you come in to purchase a card, our team will take a few minutes to talk with you about who it is for and what they enjoy. That conversation helps us write a note that feels personal rather than printed, and it gives you confidence that the gift is landing in exactly the right place. We have helped three generations of Kelowna families find the right way to celebrate the people they love through art.
If you have questions before you visit — about denominations, about what services the recipient might enjoy most, or about how to combine cards — simply call us and we will talk it through. This is a family business, and that means you speak to someone who genuinely knows the studio, not a script.
